New Mitral Valve Prolapse Trainer (#1320)

A slightly larger and more realistic form in a new suturable formulation. Our popular Mitral Valve Prolapse Trainer (#1012) was an early success for The Chamberlain Group. It has been well-received in academic and medical device circles since its introduction in 2002. With physician feedback we have now developed the New Mitral Valve Prolapse Trainer (#1320) with slightly modified anatomy, providing approximately 6% more valve area and annulus in a different polymer formulation with improved suturability. Delicate prolapsed posterior leaflet is intended for incision and suture repair. As with our other mitral valve trainers, the New Mitral Valve Prolapse Trainer provides inferior access to the valve through the trainer base.
